A little planning is necessary, however. Some procedures need to be performed several months in advance, while others can be performed at the last minute.

Your Bridal Makeover will be performed in Dr. Robert Kessler's surgery center located in Corona Del Mar.
Liposuction
Liposuction is a mildly invasive procedure, designed to eliminate unsightly fatty tissue from various areas of the body. The technique can improve the look of the waist, lower back, abdomen, thighs, upper arms, and even under the chin. Using Liposuction, Dr. Kessler can create a smooth, sculpted, and beautiful shape. Start the procedure early; patients may be sore or bruised after Liposuction, and it will take six to eight weeks for the full results to show.
Breast Augmentation
A breast augmentation can provide shape and proportion to body; creating a curvaceous figure. Round, perky breasts fill out the wedding dress beautifully. Dr. Kessler can assist in deterring the best size implant for your individual body type. Bruising and swelling will occur after the Breast Augmentation, so the procedure should be done several months before the wedding to allow for healing.

Botox Cosmetic
Botox has been the number one nonsurgical procedure for the last several years. The Botulinum Toxin will improve Frown Lines, forehead creases, and Crow’s Feet – any wrinkles due to repetitive muscle movement. Botox Cosmetic results will need a three to four-week head start, though, so plan accordingly.
- 2-3 weeks before wedding:
Chemical Peel
A chemical peel can restore refreshed, youthful-looking facial skin. By removing the damaged top layer of cells, healthy new tissue is able to form. Blemishes, fine lines, and the appearance of pores can be reduced. The face will look radiant and glowing. As a chemical peel requires appropriate recovery time; it is essential to give yourself at least three weeks to heal.
Dermal Fills
A facial fat transfer uses the body’s own fatty tissue to enhance the healthy contours of the face. Shallow areas under the eyes or along the cheeks will look fuller and more sculpted through a facial fat transfer. The procedure can make the jawline or lips more prominent and well-defined. Expect minor bruising afterward, so allow a few days before the wedding.
- 1 week for your wear white:
Juvederm is a Hyaluronic facial filler, that quickly smoothes fine lines and deep creases on the face. Fillers work best on Static wrinkles, those that form from a loss of skin elasticity. Juvederm can also add volume to hollow areas, such as the cheek or under the eye. Juvederm will provide immediate results that will last up to a year. In case minor redness or swelling occurs at the injection site, space the treatment a few days before the wedding.
