Your Consultation
In order to ascertain your compatibility with Upneeq eye drops, a consultation will be required. A physical examination of your eyes will be performed. A discussion of your medical history including underlying health conditions and current medications will be conducted to assess your risk factors. You will be given specific instructions on the proper dosage and application once you are determined to be compatible with Upneeq treatments.
Upneeq Eye Drops Application
Upneeq is packaged as single-use eye drops. To apply, tilt your head slightly backward and pull down on your eyelid. This creates a pocket that will hold the drop of liquid effectively. Squeeze a drop on your eye, then close your eyes for a minute or two. Repeat this process on the other eye. Make sure to wash your hands before applying the medication.
Do not apply the dropper or touch the tip directly on your eye to avoid injury or infection. Store the containers upright and throw away used ones even with the remaining liquid inside. Only use one drop on each eye, once a day. Apply 15 minutes before putting in your contact lenses.
Aftercare
After applying Upneeq eye drops, there is no recovery or downtime required. You may experience redness, itching, or slight pain at the time of use but these should not persist. You are able to resume your normal activities right away.
