Depending on the number and size of treatment areas, Ellacor sessions can take between 20 to 45 minutes to complete.
04 Is It Suitable for Dark Skin Tones?

Due to possible adverse reactions, Ellacor is not recommended for darker skin tones. It is recommended for patients with lighter skin (Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV).
05 What Is the Ideal Age of An Ideal Candidate for Ellacor?

You may undergo Ellacor treatments if you are 22 years or above, as long as you have moderate wrinkles on your face.
06 Is It Good for Pregnant Women?

No, Ellacor treatments for wrinkles are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
07 What Is The Minimum Number of Treatment Sessions?

The total number of sessions to achieve the ideal aesthetic goals may vary from patient to patient but most patients are able to see a difference in 1 to 3 treatments. The recommended number of treatments will be discussed during consultation.
08 How Long Is the Downtime After An Ellacor Procedure?

While there is minimal recovery time needed after Ellacor treatments, patients usually take 3 to 7 days of “social downtime” to let the symptoms subside.
09 Will There Be Visible Scarring?

There is no visible scarring after this skin rejuvenating procedure because the innovative technology operates on a micro-scale.
10 Is Ellacor The Same As Microneedling?

Microneedling is a skin rejuvenation procedure which induces micro-injuries in the skin with the use of tiny needles. There is no removal of skin tissue involved in microneedling, however Ellacor’s methodology involves removal of skin through the hollowed out needles.
11 What Is the Duration Between Each Session?

A treatment plan will be developed during consultation and each session will be spaced 30 days apart.
12 How Can I Prepare for My Ellacor Treatment?

There are certain guidelines to follow weeks prior to your Ellacor session. You should avoid facial treatments and blood thinners two weeks before your treatment. Stop smoking to ensure proper healing.
13 What Can I Expect Immediately After Treatment?

Your skin will look dark pink after treatment and may look similar to sunburnt skin. There may be pinpoint bleeding Bruising, swelling, and tenderness on the treated areas.
14 What Is the Aftercare Regimen?

Applying sunscreen regularly is highly recommended. Keep the area well-hydrated with moisturizers and hyaluronic acids. Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and tanning beds for several days after your Ellacor treatment.
15 When Can I See the Final Results?

As the skin heals, the gaps (or cores) made by the Ellacor treatment will close up and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It can take 3 to 6 months to see the final results, especially after multiple sessions of Ellacor treatments.
